GOWINTA FARMS 25 September 2011

The Sunshine Coast strawberry picking season is only around 8 weeks off coming to a close for 2011. The warmer weather brings in a new season of fruits including mangoes and the finest pineapples grown in Australia.

We've had such an amazing number of new faces on the farm this strawberry season and a special thanks to all the familiar faces that return year after year for the seasonal work. Your commitment to the farm is always appreciated. It's been a pleasure to meet and work with all of our hard working international, backpacking workers too.

Lychee's are forming beautifully and will be back on supermarket shelves in January. So much to look forward to as we head towards summer.
